The project located in Eastern Washington includes a basketball court and climbing wall, in addition to auxiliary spaces for a study, art studio, game loft and shower/sauna facilities. It was important to the client for the space to have a lot of daylight, which was achieved through transom and corner windows. Heat and hot water are provided by a wood-fired boiler. A model completed during the design process shows a single large volume with mezzanine levels at both ends.
